Clip Clip

The winter air in NYC can wreak havoc on your skin and nails — indoor heat can be particularly brutal on your digits. To avoid cracked nails, invest in a good clipper and keep your nails short and trimmed. The BEST nail clippers are hands-down made in Solingen Germany —also known as the city of blades. These clippers are well made with precision-sharp and long-lasting blades. I found an excellent selection of nail clippers at Zamberg.com. These clippers are made of high quality non-corrosive stainless steal (INOX) and will last a long time (if you don't lose them).  But whatever clipper you decide to get, remember to clip your nails at home — office and subway clipping is perceived by most people as gross.

Trimming my nails has always been a challenge for me because I have had trouble operating standard nail clippers well.

I wanted to pass along a new item I came across for nail clipping called Clip-Right (clip-right.com) which has a reverse pressure lever. My hand shakes less when using this new style and the result better and using it is easier.
