Tom Ford's colognes for men, like his clothes, are elegant and masculine. On the other hand, Tom Ford's perfumes for women can be quite strong. It made me wonder about using one of TF's woman's perfumes as a masculine floral. So I experimented with Tom Ford White Patchouli.
TFWP struck me as having a couple of similar notes as Jean Paul Gaultier Fleur du Male; mainly the orangey florals. I like it, but just a heads-up: White Patchouli is not for the weak. It has a presence. All it takes is a light spray on your chest, then let it diffuse through the fabric of your shirt… it's heavenly.

:))) Thanks Carla!
I'm intrigued . . . I love women's fragrances on men and will have to give this one a try. Thanks for all the great postings . . . I don't have the time or patience for spritzing attacks at sephora and really appreciate your commentaries. Keep them coming!
