H2O Plus Celebrates World Water Day

Nearly one billion people around the world do not have access to clean drinking water, and 2.6 billion still lack basic sanitation, according to World Water Day, celebrated annually on March 22nd, was established by the United Nations in 1992 and focuses attention on the world's water crisis, as well as the solutions to address it.

To celebrate World Water Day 2010, H20 Plus, will proudly donate 15% of all online and in-store sales to local regional water organizations in the six key cities where the brand has freestanding stores: New York, Los Angles, San Francisco, Chicago, Toronto and Vancouver.

At the heart of H2O Plus is the company’s belief that water is life. Since water is universally associated with purity and simplicity, H2O Plus is deeply concerned about protecting the earth’s most natural resource and has established partnerships with regional organizations whose commitment to clean water mirrors their own philosophy.

Through its unique sea-derived concept, H2O Plus combines water “plus” marine extracts, its exclusive Sea Mineral Complex and advanced skincare technology to reveal remarkably fresh, younger-looking skin.

The brand offers an extensive collection of skin and body care products that deeply hydrate, protect and revitalize the skin.

The story of H2O Plus began when its founder, Cindy Melk, frustrated with the experience of skincare shopping at department stores, realised she was not able to find skin care that was water based, oil-free and would not clog skin pores when skincare shopping at department stores. Frustrated with the experience, she was inspired to create her own range of products to fill the void.
