TOTES, for sure!

Sometimes day-to-day life in NYC gets a little overwhelming and when that happens I like to pick myself up, brush off my knees and go shopping. A lot has been going on with me lately including a break up, a move from an apartment where I've been living for the past 10 years and, of course, the usual NYC neurosis that some mistake for "energy". Today was the day. The shopping theme was "stylish and scruffy" so I headed down to the West Village to a shop called SAVE Khaki (112 Greenwich Avenue, NYC 212 255-1213) where they take khaki to the level of fine, disheveled art. I picked up this amazingly scruffy tote. It's kind of like Carhartt with style. Next up was a visit to the newish Cole Haan store on 5th Avenue and 21st Street where I got these Cole, Rood Haan Co. limited edition desert boots with a soft leather heel and sole. These shoes make me feel like I'm walking in a dream.... they're the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn.
