Boucheron Jaipur Eau de Parfum

So, I recently spent a few days at my sister’s house trying to beat the heat by lounging by the pool, eating, drinking some cold beer, shopping, and then some more lounging by the pool. While I was there, I happened to notice a bottle of Boucheron Jaipur Eau de Parfum on her dresser. I had given this to her a while back as a gift for some occasion. I remember when I bought it thinking the scent might work as well on a guy as it does on a woman. There were definitely some notes in the fragrance that blurred the masculine/feminine line. The bottle showed some age as the gold on the top was brushed in the same beautiful way that a piece of 18k gold jewelry might show with some wear. Really nice. I spritzed a couple of shots on my neck and OH BOY… the fragrance was just as I remembered…amazing. It won me over again. This scent is sensual, clean and subtle — an eau de parfum with great staying power. Strong enough for a woman and awesome for a gentleman. I’m going to buy a bottle for myself.

I used to love the ads for this perfume. They had a bondage theme. They had a woman's wrists held behind her back wrapped in the bottle.

Back in the day when I was a freshman in college, I sold perfume at a "fancy" department store. A very attractive man would come in every 2 months and buy Boucheron Jaipur for himself. It smelled much better on him than myself!
