New Scent from 007 — Ocean Royale

A surprising and amazing new fragrance has launched from the James Bond 007 line — Ocean Royale. I wasn't sure what to make of this at first, but I started to conjure up of images of James Bond and Daniel Craig and thought, hmmm, this could be interesting. Well, it is. I was really surprised at what a good solid, well-constructed and SEXY fragrance this is. The top, middle and base notes are harmonious, subtle and quite pleasant yet mysterious. The scent opens with an aquatic whiff of aniseed, bergamot and notes of lime. Then it moves into a creamy interpretation of teak wood, guaiac and cedar woods. Finishing off with just the slightest hint of coffee bean and the luxurious (and one of my favorites) base note of tonka bean. This is a sophisticated blend that works well on many levels but the thing that surprised me the most is the price. This sophisticated elixir retails at Kohl's for $30 for 30ml. I would expect to pay 2 or 3 times that price for this quality scent. Definitely recommended.
